Lifting chains, such as our KELK chains, are essential components for the safe lifting and securing of loads. KELK lifting chains are not designed for use in manual or electric hoists, even if the dimensions may appear similar. They are supplied in black finish with a thin protective coating that provides a clean, uniform appearance. The chains remain fully operational in temperature ranges from -40°C to +100°C, making them suitable for use in diverse working environments.

To ensure long service life and consistent performance, proper maintenance is essential. Chains should be kept clean and protected against corrosion through regular inspection and environmentally responsible maintenance practices. The standard KELK Grade 8 chain offers a material strength of 80 kN per square millimetre, and Grade 10 variants are also available within our range for higher performance requirements.
