Lifting chains, such as our KELK chains, are key components for the safe lifting and securing of loads. They are manufactured in accordance with EN 818-2 and are suitable for a wide range of applications and configurations, including single lengths and multi-leg assemblies such as four-leg chains, available in various dimensions.

KELK lifting chains are not designed for use in manual or electric hoists, even if the dimensions appear similar. They are supplied in a black finish with a thin protective coating that provides corrosion resistance and a uniform appearance. The chains remain fully functional within a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, making them suitable for use in diverse working environments.

To ensure a long service life, proper maintenance is essential. Regular cleaning and environmentally responsible maintenance practices help prevent corrosion and preserve performance. The standard KELK Grade 8 chain offers a material strength of 80 kN per square millimetre, and higher-performance Grade 10 variants are also available within our range.
