Lashing Chain custom made
Lashing chains or tension chains EN 12195-3
Lashing chains, also known as tension chains, are used to secure loads safely during transport by road, rail, or water. They are essential for preventing loads from shifting, tipping, or becoming loose, which could result in hazardous situations and damage.
Lashing chains are manufactured in accordance with the strict requirements of EN 12195-3 and are supplied with a durable identification label, as required for all certified lashing equipment. This label ensures traceability and confirms compliance with the applicable safety standards.
Chain tensioners and shortening hooks
Our lashing chains are equipped with chain tensioners that generate the necessary pre-tension force to secure the load correctly. In addition, shortening hooks allow the chain length to be adjusted easily, ensuring an optimal fit for each specific load. This combination improves both safety and ease of use.
We offer a comprehensive range of lashing chains, including standard configurations as well as custom-made solutions. The chains are available in various diameters, each with a defined lashing capacity:
6 mm GR80: 2,150 daN
8 mm GR80: 4,000 daN
10 mm GR80: 6,300 daN
13 mm GR80: 10,600 daN
13 mm GR100: 13,400 daN
